In other news, I was doing some research on colleges both in Hawaii and online, and I think I may have reached a decision with my major (Hallelujah!!!). Years ago when I was nearing the end of High School, I wanted to major in History simply because it holds my interest so well. I ended up trying to go for the major that would get me into a higher paying job (business) but hated it. Then I stopped going to school altogether because of deployments, having to work full time at a job where my schedule would change so quickly, going through a divorce, etc. Now that Im married again and I can actually go back to school, I think I will pursue History again!! Plus Troy University offers the major online as well, which will work perfectly with my new lifestyle as a military wife. Ive always love love loved everything historical, you know, just going back in time and learning about how America was started, how people lived, and how history prepares us for the future. I think that would be best suited for me. I was interested in going for education, but if I do teach, I want it to be on a subject I love :) Also thought about going into Environmental Science (and I think I may still take a few classes on this subject as electives), but I dont think I would love it as much. So history it is folks!! Now Ive just gotta choose a minor......
Im getting really excited because we move in about 35 days!!! Our stuff will be on its way in just a couple of weeks....AAAHHHHHHH!!! Even the Jeep will be gone by next monday!! The cats have been booked for their flight as well! We decided to go with another airline for them because the airline we are flying on doesnt have cargo out of Norfolk, and they have to fly cargo to Hawaii...Oh and my SIL didnt get the loan she was hoping for to take over my car note so we are now shipping the S.S. Sebring to Hawaii as well!! Im happy for this and Im bummed--let me explain-- I love my car and Im happy that we can take it with us....but it would have been nice to get an SUV when we get over there and not have to worry about the sebring payment anymore. But oh well...in a year or so we may try to trade the sebring in for an SUV, depending on whether or not we have started a family ;)
So thats whats going on in our neck of the woods...stay tuned for the Hawaii blog!!

The second blog sounds like a good idea and one that I have considered myself with our move. Of course I may also be adding a third for the Glitter Princess to be able to share her thoughts, pictures and updates as well. Eeek! I am so excited for you getting to go to Hawaii!
